Accidents and near-miss incidents do happen in everyday living, at home, at workplace and even on vacation.
But why? Aren’t they inevitable? What can we do in case of emergency?
“Yumi’s Blue Owl Channel” shows the audience a series of incidents which occurred from all over the world. The channel also encourages the viewers to understand the root causes of accidents and to gain prevention tips.

She was born in Hiroshima Japan. In 1999 she studied abroad in the U.K. In 2012 she moved to Germany. A study of ´Health and Safety´ inspired her. She passed the NEBOSH IGC qualification and is currently studying NEBOSH Diploma. In 2021 she was diagnosed with a breast cancer. Raising the cancer awareness, Pink Owl Channel was created soon after.
Currently, she writes a book about her cancer experience.
